This stunning and welcoming ceremony room in South Yarra  is Melbourne’s most chosen alternative and privately run successful registry (for the last 14+ years) to the State Government-run Victoria Marriage Registry in Spring Street, Melbourne.

You can book your Victorian Private Marriage Registry wedding ceremony to be legally conducted in one month from the date of signing your Notice of Intended Marriage, and there is no additional fee for use of our ‘Up-To-35 Guests’ sized ceremony room. Or, you can elope with as few as two guests!

Please refer to the costings on this Price list and the conditions listed below. All bookings are dependant upon availability. There are two separate payments for our services: Part One (Lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage) and Part Two (Ceremony).

Part One: Initial Lodgement of ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ (Form 13) Paperwork

Lodgement of ‘Notice Of Intended Marriage – Form 13’with authorised celebrant. (This includes any transfer of NOIM-Form 13 paperwork from another celebrant across to Melbourne Private Marriage Registry – Victoria)

Part Two: Marriage Registry – Ceremony Booking – Fee Schedule* (Additional cost to Part One fee)

*Prices listed are 100%  ‘all-inclusive’ – including the Celebrant, all Legal Paperwork, as required by law, and use of our warm and intimate Ceremony Room (which can accommodate up to 35+ people).  A booking of up to 30 minutes is allocated for your ceremony time in the ceremony room for up to 6 guests attending with you, of a full hour if you choose up to 35 guests. We also recently added a 40 minute option for up to 12 guests.

You will be required to bring two witnesses over the age of 18 years.

The choices are endless.

You may choose to have anywhere from just a few friends and family, right up to approximately 35 guests, however we recommend booking in for extended time for your ceremony if you wish to extend your celebrations with your group and have a photographer take the time to photograph in our lovely ceremony space with you – as ceremonies with larger guest numbers usually run overtime and this will be billed in additional 30 minute increments.

Please note – after the celebrant uploads all the legal documentation into the Government marriage portal, the final processed Marriage Certificate will be obtainable from www.bdm.vic.gov.au for the current fee of $64.40 with local Express Post delivery including. Please check their website for details.

Upon your request, the celebrant is also able to order this Official Marriage Certificate on your behalf and ensure it is posted to your chosen address location, so your don’t have to worry about producing further IDs for the online ordering process to the BDM offices.

There are two separate parts you will need to make payment for with us:

1. Payment One:     The $175 lodgement fee for the Notice of Intended Marriage.   This is an up-front payment and is non-refundable.
2. Payment Two:     The Ceremony Fee, which is all-inclusive of the legal documentation, the celebrant, use of the ceremony room, and the conducting of the ceremony. There are many different options depending on the number of guests and which date and time suits you.
